These systems provide early warning of a fire by detecting smoke, heat, or flames. They include smoke, heat, and flame detectors, as well as fire alarm control panels that receive signals, activate alarms, and notify others.

Fire Suppression Systems

These systems actively work to extinguish or control fires. They include

  • Sprinkler Systems: Automatic systems that activate upon detecting heat and release water. Types include wet pipe, dry pipe, and pre-action systems.
  • Fire Extinguishers: Portable devices for manually extinguishing small fires.
  • Fire Hydrants & Standpipe Systems: Provide firefighters with readily available water sources.
